MEXICO CITY (Expansion) – Climate change is a factor that is harming every living being on our planet, so several sectors are coming together to mitigate the problem that haunts the Earth, one of these is the technological.

Dr. Alberto Mendoza, director of the Water Center for Latin America and the Caribbean and leader of the Energy and Climate Change Research Group, an organization in charge of sustainable water management, assures that technology is helping and is at a level of maturity “That has allowed us to advance what has to do with a cleaner economy and move us to a decarbonised economy”.

A report by The Global Carbon Project states that in 2018, carbon dioxide emissions reached a historic record, equivalent to 2.7% more CO2 generated in 2017.
